- I purchased this card on Newegg for only $54 after MIR to replace a dead 8800GT. I've only owned it for 2 weeks and I can say nothing more than amazing. For the price, this card really does well for most computer users. It handles Crysis 2 at a solid 25-40 fps on the highest settings. The only downside I can think of is the heatsink. When the gpu is under full load, the fan will make a loud whining sound. I replaced the heatsink with a spare artic cooling accelero twin turbo and it idles at 35C and loads at 45C.
