  • Purchased the GTX 570 over the 580 due to substantially lower price and marginally lower benchmark tests. Replaced SLI setup of 8800 GTS cards - cut power requirements by 70% and heat substantially. Non-gaming temp is 40 - 45 deg C, under gaming load it rises to 60 or so, but not any higher. Bought eVGA brand for rebate, reliability, and overclocking stability (past experience).Great card, you won't be disappointed!
  • I had a hard time choosing a video card for my new PC and ended up using this one for a couple of reason. Fist, I read a number of great things about EVGA cards. I was unable to convince myself to spend the $450+ on the GTX 580, and the color scheme of the 570 series matched the components of my build.I was a little confused on the difference between the GTX 570 Superclock and the GTX 570 Superclock HD, so I decided to call EVGA and ask them. Ends up that although the HD has an additional port type, and a full size HDMI port (instead of the HDMI mini) it used less precious metal on its board and there for was $20 cheaper. This didn't make too much sense to me, but if that is what the sales rep…
