- I got this card as an upgrade for a Powermac G5. It installs easy and is plug and play, I have not installed any new drivers yet and it still works great. HD video performance is improved a bit, and and photo editing is a breeze with it. The stock card did not have a fan on it so it was silent, this being a higher performance unit it does have a fan that runs nearly all the time so you do get some white noise from the fan but nothing really annoying. Nice, affordable upgrade.
