  • I am thoroughly pleased with this card. I upgraded from an EVGA 512MB GeForce 9800GTX+ and the difference is most certainly noticeable. When reading other reviews of this card, I noticed many complaints about heat and fan-noise, but these aren't issues for me. I have a big case (Antec 1200) with about seven fans, so all my stuff stays relatively cool. The highest temps the card reached were low 70c under full load, but it usually hovers at around 55c idle and mid-60s when under load. Also, if you have the fan set to auto, it is inaudible (at least the way I have things set up); the higest it would go is around 50%.   • This is my Second GTX460 1gb card, and I'll say one thing about the External Exhaust design... It just runs hot. Temps are consistantly 12c higher on this card than a different brand GTX460. So far, it's running strong, regardless of the higher temperature- but as with all pc components, heat is the eventual killer. This TR model has a limited 2 year warranty as well, which is not the premo-warranty offered in the AR series cards. As far as I can tell, the hardware you receive is EXACTLY the same as the AR, the AR designation simply means that you qualify for Liftime Warranty, and Step-Up Program support.If I did it again, I'd go with the 1370 part number, over the 1371.
