  • I bought this video card for use in a Shuttle SH67H3 system. I wanted a small and quiet but powerful system. The Shuttle is just that (it really pops with an i7 and SSD). Unfortunately adding this video card raised the noise level of the system so much that I am forced to return this card.The video card would probably be quiet enough if it only turned on the fan when necessary, but sadly this card sets the fan speed at 65% min. The EVGA Precision software is great for monitoring the temps to make sure things are fine, but I checked with their support and you can't lower the min fan speed on this card below 65%.   • I purchased this card about 4 months ago, and it hasn't let me down thus far. I guess you can consider me a semi hardcore gamer. I enjoy playing new games with reasonably good framerates. I've recently upgraded my computer with core duo 3ghz cpu, combine that with this card and most games run beautifully. I haven't measured my exact framerate, but Skyrim runs at about 40-60 fps constantly, even in fps heavy towns. GTA4 runs at about 30-40 fps with everything on High to Very high(With the exception of Shadows, they're taxing on the cpu).
