  • I really tried to like this card but it has issues on older computers, at least it did on mine. The card says it is backwards compatable with PCI-E 1.0 slots however I had issues. My computer would turn on or come out of standby with all fans in super high speed for 5 seconds then give a bios message that the PCI slot is operation in a lower speed mode. I tried looking into the bios to prevent the warning or to force the card to a lower mode from the get go but to no avail.Windows 7 32bit itself had no issues with the card, it is very small card and heatsink footprint(when I first pulled it out I thought, is this really all I got, this is really small) for how powerfull it is, drivers installed…
  • -MY THOUGHTS-This is a very impressive graphics card for the price here. Although, I expected a bigger boost in performance in my computer. I was mislead into thinking that the GPU would affect how fast I can edit photos and what not, but this is not so. I got this so my computer could be faster in things like Corel Painter Sketch Pad and Corel Videostudio Pro X3. This is a little bit faster than my old ATI Radeon 3200 on-board graphics. These applications are more CPU intensive though. I did not know this when I bought the card and so I was a little unimpressed with how fast it was. This card is definitely made for gaming.
