- Even though not part of required specs, research indicated.that this card would work with my macpro. Since I had to upgrade to an open GL card to run Final Cut Pro X, this card made most sense. Installation was easy and took less then 15 minutes thanks to good Youtube instructions. Turn on power and both my screens worked even though I ultimately ended up running my primary screen from the new card and my secondary screen from the original card. A very significant improvement in speed on all video content applications.
