- I bought this for my aging Gateway desktop w/Vista. It has been an overall fine machine, but recently I've been trying to use it for casual games (minecraft) and streaming...and it couldn't keep up. Plugged the card in, put in the disk, installed drivers and software, and it was done.Nvidia software allows far more customization than I need for what I do; but it does HD output and it runs MC like a boss. I was getting ~7-9fps on tiny...I now get 70-90 on normal. Bonus is the HDMI out which I am going to run to our TV for streaming there.For $30 it can't be beat for my purpose.
