- I use my G5 every day for my graphic design business. As awesome as they may be, I am trying to put off the leap to an Intel-based Mac Pro for a while longer. I have decided to spend a few hundred bucks in upgrading the G5's graphics card, RAM and hard drive.This is an easy install, both card and software (check the company's web site for the latest, as the CD that shipped had an earlier version) gave me no problems. I think it is an inexpensive way to get another year or two out of a solid machine.
