The Matrox tech support agent I worked with kept after the problem until it was resolved so kudos to Matrox tech support. Without getting into all the technical details I would recommend that you make sure your monitor's native resolution x 2 is supported by your system's graphic card and the Dualhead2go before ordering it. - I don't know what is wrong with people that they did not read the spec. A simple mini display port to HDMI cable made this work with my MBP. One thing to be aware of though is that cables of type A that are curved on each side do not work. You need cables with a box side. The internet was not very enlightening on what to call that type. But it is working beautifully for me and deserves better reviews.
