  • The GTX 580 PNY graphics card is a fantastic card. Still the best single graphics card on the market.I was impressed by the power and quality of the graphics that this item produced. However, my problems arose right out of the box. For such an expensive item, you would likely expect all of the possibly needed peripheral connectors to be included. WRONG! There is no dual 6 pin-to-8 pin converter. It comes with a dual molar (4 pin)-to-6 pin connector, but how many high computers will rely on molar connectors to power a GTX 580?I have an XPS 720 with a Intel Core 2 Quad processor and a 1 KW power supply.   • I bought this card nine months ago. With the exception of some minor driver issues that were corrected by an nVidia patch a few months later, it worked fine for all that time. I play a lot of games, so I used the card heavily during those nine months.A few days ago, the card stopped working. The fan still spins, but the card no longer sends any data to the monitor. A PNY tech told me that my power supply is probably to blame rather than the card, but I replaced the card with a GTX 590, which works just fine.
