- I bought this thinking it was the reference card but it is not. It is a revised model and when I first received it I was bummed because you can only flash the bios' of the reference 6950's. I was going to just send it back but I said what the heck and tried it out anyway. I unlocked the shaders very easily and have the clocks running at 880mhz and 1350mhz. As far as I am concerned this is the best card on the market as of right now. It has the new revised pcb, dual fans for cooling, and dual bios switch. I know for a fact you can unlock the shaders but I didn't try to flash the card to a 6970 and never was going to anyway. From a few reviews I have read some people have problems when they flash…
- As of June 1st the two of these Visontek 6950s I received are the newest rev. No Bios switch and completely non-standard design. One bricked and didnt try to the other without a bios switch, no joy. Good luck still a great card.
- Be ready to crush the competition in the hottest DirectX 11-capable games.
