- I didn't buy this from amazon,, but from a retail store.. bought two of this model. Put the first one in my daughters PC and the fan was louder than the 3 fans inside the PC combined.. may work for some people, but where this is located, too much of a distraction.
- This card is great. Paired with a good processor, it can run Crysis 2 on max settings around 35 - 75 fps! It runs all my games fine, it's DDR5, doesn't consume a lot of power. But one thing.The fan is LOUD. Compared to other fans, this thing is like a jet. At first, you will be paranoid from it's sound, but after a few weeks, you will get over it."Do you hear a jet taking off? Do you live near an airport?" "Oh no it's just my GT 440 running."Well, it's not terribly loud, but loud enough to get on your nerves the first few days. Especially if you have a very quiet PC.
