- PC is an ancient Dell Dimension 3000 with a 2.4 Celeron running XP SP2, 32 bit - slow, I know, a dinosaur in 2012. But you know what? It's extremely stable, runs my apps - in fact (knock on wood), this is one of the most stable systems I've ever owned... it just a reliable workhorse for the years I've owned it, and there's something to be said for that. I'm the opposite of the early adapter. Not a gamer, but I do use an older version of Adobe Premier for video editing, along with an old version of Photoshop and some other "not the latest and greatest" but still powerful and stable graphic/media apps. - This is an ok graphics card. the build is great and the low profile a charm. but know that this is PCI NOT PCIe (EXPRESS). PCI is much slower than PCIe. so even thought this graphics card is 512mb 8400gs DDR3 it is still slower than my old 256mb 8400gs PCIe. they are different connector types. my biggest beef is that it does not allow my computer to shut off and it is very VERY laggy. it could just be the specific card i received, though.
