It doesn't have anything to do with the installation but more replacing the bracket. When you receive the card it has a Normal Sized Bracket already on it. You will have to replace that bracket with 1 of the 2 Low Profile Brackets in order to fit it into a slim model. No Biggy right? Well it's kind of a biggy. - Ordered this card based on reviews that not only indicated relatively good gaming performance (for a low-profile card, that is), but also very low power consumption, as well. Installation in my Dell Optiplex 745 (desktop-size) required a bit of modification to one corner of the (rather bulky) heat sink housing for the CPU. Used a Dremel for the trimming of plastic so the edge of the card could fully seat into the slot.
