- These were very easy to grow. I only planted half the seeds, but each one sprouted! I started them out in little Jiffy system plastic greenhouse in peat pellets and, following the seed packet directions, replanted them into deeper pots when they were a couple of inches tall, burying them up to the leaves. That was only last week and they've grown an inch or two and look very healthy with good leaves. The red tomato seeds are dyed red, so you can tell them from the yellow tomato seeds. These will get quite tall - over six feet if you let them - but the vines are not too heavy, so plan on some type of light support. I'll put these in the garden, but I imagine a large planter would also work. To me, these have a sweeter, deeper tomato flavor than the usual cherry & grape tomato varieties. Well worth your effort.
