- I was running an old nvidia gt 210 in a 2.5 yr old box. I wanted to play the SWTOR and that card wasn't cutting it. Spent 40 bucks on this card, and get 30-60 fps depending on the area on low. 15-25 fps on high depending on area. This card did exactly what I wanted it to do, (make the game playable without any choppiness or tearing)For 40 bucks, you can't go wrong as long as your not into the cutting edge of gaming.
- I bought this card for a low profile case....the card itself is low profile but there is a part of the card (the monitor plug in) that is NOT low profile...in fact...it does not even fit into a larger case without bending part of the metal to make it fit...after realizing it would not fit into my sons case (who I bought it for) I installed it in my case as we both had a 512 card so it was an upgrade for either comp. It seems to work well enough after gaming for an hour...but if you truly need a low profile card this one wont fit in your case.
