• This really is an amazing video card that delivers what it promises- just don't let the expectation of rebate money influence your buying decision! Other reviewers alluded to problems getting rebates from Sapphire, and that has been my experience as well. Be aware that if you make a mistake on your rebate form and are denied, in most cases, there is no appeal process- One strike, your out!I took away one star on my rating for my lost rebate.... (18 bucks.... I had plans for that money!)
• While this card is amazing and can take everything I throw at it, I was a little disappointed to find out that I was unable to unlock this card. I wasn't able to just flip a switch and I also wasn't able to get the RBE method to work either. I suppose I waited too long to pull the trigger on this wonderful video card. I've heard reports that they are lasering off the extra shaders to force people to buy the 6970.Don't let that deter you from buying an HD6950 though! But noisier under load...which doesn't bother me because I wear headphones when gaming. So it suits me quite well.I have been able to overclock it roughly 10% so far - haven't quite got there with tweaking that yet, but seems to have some good potential there using Zotac's firestorm software.Would I buy it again?
