- First of all, I'm not sure why anyone would buy the normal GTX 580 when this one is the same price!! Anyway that's really not important, what is important is that this card is awesome. I basically purchased this so I could play skyrim on ultra and it has far exceeded my expectations. I am actually playing the game now with the skyrim hd mod that has even higher resolution textures and there is still no slow down. I'm coming from a GTX 285 and I didn't think I would need to upgrade for a loong time but I guess that time has come sooner than expected.Basically, if you're wondering if this card is worth the price tag, yes it is.
- I upgraded from a 9800gt and now I can finally play skyrim without a problem. This card is pretty bigso make sure you have room in your case for it. I have an x79 setup in a hafx-942 case so its a nice addition to the rest of the hardware.
