  • I've been buying Sapphire video cards for many years. they are excellent cards. very good quality. fan is silent. installed no problems. driver setup was a snap in Win7 64 bit. drives a 24" Asus monitor with excellent results. if you are going to buy a video card buy sapphire. do your research on specs and determine what type of card best suits your needs. i didn't buy this for a gaming rig. the price was right for what I needed it for. takes up two slots but what card doesn't these days.
  • I tend not to leave reviews, but after installing this I had to to make sure others would jump on it. The 5670 is frequently a recommended buy and it does not disapoint. Sapphire did a great job with their version.Pros:Value-price/performanceDownloadable software overclock, was able to boost 30% and still be stableQuiet! even at 100% fan speed the Idling cpu fan was louderAudio bit-streaming, Dolby TrueHD and DTSHD Master Audio etc...Crossfire ability. Cant wait to see what 100$ for 2 of these beats!Cons:Sapphire's promise of free software for registering the card is non-existent.Overall I would recommend this to any budget conscience gamer or HTPC builder. I managed to get this for $50 after…

  • Fan was extremely loud. But it gets worse. Granted, the settings on the newest games were able to look and play wonderfully well, the card only lasted 2 days before dying. All of the sudden, nothing. Blank screen. I did the normal investigative items, and I have a bad card. We call this "infant mortality" in the computer industry. I have been an Nvidia guy my whole life, but I ventured off the path. I do not like the Catalyst controls and will be returning the card, and getting my money back. The card has some good numbers in the online benchmarks I have seen, but Xfx needs to do something with this fan. It was running 50% on the internet. I really would have kept the card and was…
  • I was going to purchase a GTX 560 Ti then I saw this XFX HD 6870 with 2 Gig memories. The GTX 560 Ti is a faster card comparing to HD 6870 1 Gig memory but not by much. But comparing to XFX HD 6870 2 Gig version they should be about the same if is not more. This card will be somewhat future prove due to 2 gig of memories. The XFX HD 6870 2 gig cost about $40 to $50 less than the GTX 560 Ti 1 gig. Some people complained the fan is little loud, but it's a high performance card! What do you expect?! It only gets loud when the 3D game is launched. The GTX 560 Ti has mini HDMI which I don't like and HD 6870 has standard HDMI 1.4a. If your OS is XP (32bit), you must download the driver from the AMD's…

  • My main motivation for purchasing this card was to use it in my Windows 7 Media Center PC. This card supports audio-over-HDMI, including support for Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. Watching Blu-rays on my HTPC has never been better!
  • This graphics card is just what I needed. I was looking for a great graphics card that would play games with the high graphic settings. I am able to run The Witcher 2 (which looks amazing) with most setting on high and not get any lag. The price for this card is a really good deal compared to other cards out there. Also, amazon.com was great with getting the product shipped in one day.
