- I no sooner got it out of the box after I got it today before deciding to return it. Didn't bother to try it on, it was obviously too small, and definitely didn't look like it was going to be able to handle the cold weather we have up in the mid-west. Even considering it's stuffed with down, there's no way it would keep me warm when its 40 degrees, much less when its in the teens and 20s like this week is going to be. The search continues for a lightweight down coat that can stand up to cold weather. Probably gonna go with Land's End.
- I had high hopes for this coat based on the original price of $269.00. I liked that it didn't have the tacky looking faux fur. I recevied the coat in two days, shipping was fast! I normally wear a small but I ordered a medium so I could fit layers under it and good thing I did, because the coat runs small. The fit was fine but I would suggest ordering one size larger. I ordered the brown and it was slightly iridecent and the color is very attractive. The down filling is not dense so i'm guessing it will not be the warmest coat. The fur on the hood is not full. I have a few coats with fur trim and this is by far the chinciest. I guess you get what you pay for and it is definately not a high end…
